I am a seeker of the unseen, the magical, and the healing.
As a life-long dancer, I found yoga while studying psychology at the University of Colorado and completed my 200-hour teaching certification in vinyasa yoga. Inspired by the parallels between my practice and my studies, I discovered body psychotherapy and dance/movement therapy and received my master’s degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in 2013. I provided trauma-sensitive yoga in the PTS(d) inpatient unit at the Veterans Association in Denver, Colorado. I also helped develop Comeback Yoga, a non-profit that provides free trauma-sensitive yoga to military veterans and their support networks.
I teach yoga to help us all evolve into better professionals, parents, friends, lovers, teachers, and community members. Students have told me my classes are nurturing, fun, challenging, and woven with impactful dharma. I am very excited to to share my passion of healing through movement, connection, and breath with the magical yoga and wellness community here in LA.
Deep bow of appreciation to the love family here at Light on Lotus. I am honored to learn, grow, and teach alongside you all.
