Astrud Castillo

As a teacher my intention is to guide individuals to explore the transformative relationship between breath and body.

I see this union as a marriage cultivating deeper intimacy with our lives, with one another and with the Divine.

My classes are steeped in the Bhakti Yoga tradition, the yoga of devotion.

My classes are a balanced mix of mindful and creative sequencing with conscious alignment and lots of attention to breath, chanting and great music that aligns with the theme of the class. Dharma is infused into each class as a way to deepen the spirit of the practice and begin to explore the practical application of it all.

I have been teaching since 2000, taking groups to India annually and leading Kirtan around the globe. You can find my CD “Hari Om” on Spotify and I tunes.
